Taylor Baggott is the quintessential musician who has been singing for as long as he can remember. He began his formal training with the Minnesota Boychoir and continued on at Wayzata High School under the direction of Rebecca Wyffels and Jeff Dahl. It was there that he was introduced to a cappella music and co-founded the group "Circle of Fifths" modeling much of their music after the St. Olaf College Limestones - which at the time, featured Matt McDonald, Marcus Hanson and Gabe Koxlien - who would launch InPulse the following year.
As luck would have it, InPulse visited Wayzata HS in 2004 and thus began a friendship that thrives today. It was also at WHS that Taylor sang in the Minnesota All-State Choirs with future InPulse bandmate, Andy Miller!
Taylor continued his education at St. Olaf College, earning a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. There he sang in the world-renowned St. Olaf Choir for 3 years, serving as a tenor soloist, and also performed leading roles in several opera and theater productions. Taylor has completed graduate courses in music at the University of Minnesota - Duluth, but put his studies on hold to pursue a performing career. While
Taylor now lends his astonishing voice to InPulse, his first love remains writing and performing original music. Taylor has written over 150 songs and performs steady gigs with his Blues band, pioneering a sound he refers to as "Blue-eyed Roll n' Soul." Check them out here: http://www.myspace.com/taylorbaggott
